Description: This is a basic Rubric for evaluating web sites. We were assigned to create a rubric to easily
compare and contrast sites in their use as educational tools and to compare
and contrast different Web Author’s use of basic rules of design and
easy of usefulness.
Rationale: I created a chart to make the evaluation process
easier. I wanted it to be simple and easy to use. I wanted it to be rather plain and to the
point.
Implications for future: This could be used as a class project. Students must be able to understand how a
rubric works and how they are to be evaluated as well as how to evaluate
others.
Reviewers Comments: I thought this was any easy way to look at
web sites. However, I feel that
there could be a big difference between a 1 and 10.
