Media: I used Microsoft Word and Adobe’s Go Live to create
the page.
Description: The assignment called for our evaluation of and the
effective use of web based tools. I
reviewed the use of animation, Macromedia’s Flash program and
Macromedia’s Shockwave player.
Rationale: I wanted to make a table that was easy to
follow and concise to demonstrate my point.
I felt that the contrasting colors made the page look more
interesting as does the Gif Animation of the phases of the moon.
Implications for future: This could
be used very well in the classroom as part of an assignment to evaluate
different media types. I feel that I
gained much incite by comparing and evaluating different uses for the
selected tools.
